A Taiwan-based electronics company, ASRock was established as a byproduct of ASUS with the main focus of manufacturing products such as motherboards, industrial PCs and home theater PCs. Led by Ted Hsu, chairman of the company, ASRock was established in 2002. The company was originally created to compete with Foxconn—a Chinese company, that dominated the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) market. After its successful launch, the company then ventured into the DIY market. In 2010, ASRock made a strategic decision to partner up with Pegatron Corporation—apart from its initial association with ASUSTek, aiming to strengthen both organizations. Aside from specializing in different types of motherboards namely: consumer, HTPC and workstation motherboards; their products also range from desktop minicomputers, networking products and servers. During 2012, the company then started to venture into manufacturing industrial PCs and server motherboards. In April 2013, the company started to establish itself through its partnerships with system integrators and received an affiliation for server motherboard. In addition to these partnerships, the company also partnered with gaming expert, Jonathan Wendel in innovating gaming-oriented motherboards. These partnerships played a major part in boosting the company’s growth and in the same year, the company recorded massive sales revenue of US$329.5 Million. Today, the company is the third-largest brand and manufacturer of motherboards with the aim of being economically conscious in developing their products. The company now has distributors worldwide along with branches in Europe, US and China. ASRock is also listed in the Taiwan Stock Exchange since 2007.

With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to ASROCK User Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
