Based in Treviso, Italy, De’Longhi S.p.A is an Italian brand and company that has long been around and is known for manufacturing home appliances. Founded by the De’Longhi family in 1902, they started out as a manufacturer of small industrial parts. In 1950, the brand incorporated and was specializing in supplying components for heating appliances. The company then had its first product created in 1974, an oil-filled portable heater which launched the brand’s success. In 1979, the company had acquired Supercalor in an effort to expand their range of heaters which saw the company boosting its sales. Through the success of their first product, De’Longhi started to diversify its product range and went on to do more acquisitions that helped its growth. In 1985, the company had acquired Elba, a company producing free-standing and built-in ovens, which also saw the company launch their own oven line called “Sfornatutto”. They also started developing the first portable air conditioner and launched Pinguino in 1986. It quickly became a massive success not only in Europe but also in the US market. In hopes to strengthen the company’s air conditioning expertise, De’Longhi also acquired Ariagel in 1987. During the 2000s, more acquisitions were done to help expand the brand’s product range and most notably, the acquisition of Kenwood and Ariete: well-known brands specializing in household appliances. In 2003, the brand also introduced Café Duo which started its establishment in the coffee machine sector. In the 2010s, the company continued with its acquisitions with Braun joining the group in 2012, Eversys in 2017 and most recently Capital Brands Holdings Inc. – maker of Nutribullet and Magic Bullet brands in 2020. De’Longhi is publicly traded and is listed in the Milan Stock exchange since 2001.

With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to De’Longhi User Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
