Grandstream Networks, Inc. is a private telecommunications company based in Boston, Massachusetts. It manufactures IP voice and video communication equipment, gateways and analog telephone adapters (ATAs), video surveillance, and Asterisk-based IP-PBX appliances. The primary business of Grandstream is to supply small and medium enterprises and consumers with SIP-based products. You can find various Grandstream regional locations across the US and worldwide, including Texas, China, Morocco, Malaysia, Venezuela, and Spain. Before it became a global enterprise, Grandstream first kicked off in 2002 and built the world’s first SIP devices. Its founders wanted to find a use for Voice over internet protocol or VoIP, the newest technology fad at the time. In 2003, the first Grandstream products hit the market despite being designed out of a Boston apartment. They were the BT100, an IP phone, and the HT286, a one-line Analog Telephone Adapter. Two years later, Grandstream released its first IP video phone, the GXV3000. These first products were vital in giving the company the headstart to expand further and continue innovating. By 2008, Grandstream began adding IP video surveillance solutions to its VoIP solutions. Five years after that, the UCM series of IP PBXs debuted. The UCM series made IP PBXs easier to understand and use. It was also more affordable, giving the company a first-time user-friendly brand. As the years passed, it continued developing products and competing within its market. It introduced cloud offerings, video conferencing devices, networking solutions, and facility access market services. In 2016, Grandstream earned the Global Enterprise IP Endpoints Company of the Year award from Frost & Sullivan. Today, it continues to develop and distribute IP voice and video communications and IP surveillance products.

With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to Grandstream User Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
