Kenwood is a British company that designs, manufactures, and sells kitchen appliances. It produces home blenders, toasters, food processors, and electric kettles. Kenwood was launched in 1947 by Kenneth Wood in his garage in Woking, South London. The company’s first product was the A100, a toaster that could turn over bread on its own. Three years down the road, the company released its first food mixer in London at the Ideal Home Show. Named the Kenwood Chef, it started a line of successful models of food mixers still produced today. Kenwood then relocated to Portsmouth, where it opened a larger facility to manufacture more types of kitchen appliances. For the next three decades, Kenwood focused on producing a small range of kitchen electronics, where the Kenwood Chef took center stage. It wasn’t long before the manufacturer opened another plant in China, allowing expansion into other homeware and kitchen electronics in 1989. The management of the company continued to make strategic acquisitions during the 1990s. In 1993, it acquired Waymaster, a scale manufacturer based in Reading, followed by Ariete, an Italian producer of steam products. Kenwood was later bought by the De’ Longhi Group, an Italian corporation that also manufactured small home appliances. This acquisition opened doors to other product lines. By 2006, Kenwood was manufacturing over 100 types of appliances, including ice cream makers, blenders, and coffee makers. Today, Kenwood publicly trades on the Borsa Italiana, the Italian Stock Exchange.

With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to Kenwood Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
