Panasonic Corporation is a Japanese conglomerate with headquarters in Osaka. Apart from consumer electronic products, the organization offers a wide range of products and services encompassing automotive and avionic systems as well as construction and industrial systems. Its portfolio comprises washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, mobile devices, personal computers, cameras, broadcasting equipment, washing machines, bicycles, optical devices, and lithium batteries. Konosuke Matsushita founded the corporation in 1918 as a light bulb socket and bicycle lamp manufacturer. In 1961, Panasonic started producing televisions and debuted a high-fidelity speaker in 1965 using the brand name technics. As a result, this line made the company a big favorite in the global audio market. Among its most famous products is the SL-1200 turntable, known for its high-quality performance, durability, and precision. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the corporation dominated the market by developing high-performance and specialized electronics for niche markets. They included shortwave radios, cd players, and computers. In 2009, the organization announced the acquisition of Sanyo, making it a consolidated subsidiary of Panasonic. The move was aimed to strengthen and streamline synergies by uniting the technological and manufacturing expertise of each company. Additionally, the strategic plan was based on driving innovations to consolidate Panasonic’s market position. In 2014, Panasonic reached an agreement with Tesla Motors to provide batteries for electric cars through a battery plant constructed in the US. Panasonic possesses a primary listing on the Tokyo Stock exchange and is a component of the Nikkei 225 and TOPIX indices. Furthermore, it has a secondary listing at the Nagoya Stock Exchange.

With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to Panasonic User Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
