A well-known brand in the business of wireless communication, Uniden Holdings Corporation or Uniden, is a Japanese company that manufactures products such as cordless telephones, satellite equipment and mobile radios. Founded by Hidero Fujimoto in 1966, the company was formerly known as Uni Electronics Corp. Among its first products are the CB radios and Marine transceivers. Through the 80s, the company grew to be one of the largest manufacturers of cordless telephones along with other electronics products proving their range in the telecommunications business. In 1989, Uniden expanded their international operations and established their brand in Australia and New Zealand. The company continued to innovate its products with the introduction of caller identification to their handsets and XDECT technology – which delivers calls free of interference even in busy areas.  In addition to the variety of communication products under the brand, they also produced security products such as CCTV cameras, satellite equipment and other surveillance products. The brand also established success in the telecommunications market in Europe with its 900 MHz cordless telephones. Uniden is a public company listed in the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to Uniden User Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
