The Chinese company Fanvil Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures and develops Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Audiovisual-Internet of Things (A&V-IoT) products. It also produces door access, intercoms, and public address solutions globally. The establishment of the private company goes back to 2002. Its headquarters are in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, with its first notable products coming out in 2004 in the form of VoIP endpoints. Fanvil was an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) brand in these early years. It manufactured products to sell to large businesses and unique products as ordered by clients. As a tech provider for large companies, Fanvil grew rapidly. Its employees also learned to create high-quality and highly functional VoIP phones through their discerning and meticulous clients. Its consistency and flexibility led it to receive the CIPCA Best IP Phone Supplier Award in 2009 and the Communications Solutions Products of the Year Award in 2010. In 2011, it joined other companies in launching Android phones. Fanvil launched a key product line in its growth, the C Series Android-Based desktop IP phone. The award-winning C Series gave the company the boost it needed to develop its next line of products. Fanvil released the iSeries in 2014, a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), which improved and managed the elements on a VoIP call. Between 2016 and 2017, Fanvil released the X Series Color Screen IP phone, putting Fanvil at the forefront of IP phone manufacturers once more. It also signified the company’s focus on developing AV-IoT products. Fanvil’s success has led the company to grow exponentially. It now has 12 invention patents and two R&D centers in China.
