Fujifilm in the photography industry is known for its specialization in innovating and manufacturing cameras and photographic films. Today, the Corporation is more than a photography and optics brand. It also operates in the office electronics, medical electronics, and biotechnology industries. The beginnings of Fujifilm can be traced back to 1934 when the company was known as Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. It was a subsidiary of Daicel, primarily established to produce photographic films domestically. In the 1950s, Fujifilm expanded its digital technologies for various industries, including medical and printing. It led to the company inventing computed radiography or digital radiography, making radiography easier and safer. Fujifilm Holdings also established Fuji Xerox with the American company Rank Xerox in 1962. By 1997, the company absorbed Rank Xerox and has since developed xerographic machines. This was pivotal in the success of Fuji Xerox, one of the two operating companies under Fujifilm Group. After Toyama Chemical became one of its consolidated subsidiaries, the Japanese company began operating in the pharmaceutical market in 2008. It gave Fujifilm the chance to manufacture radiopharmaceuticals and small-molecule drugs. The company also foresaw the need to shift from film to digital as times changed. In 2018, Fujifilm launched the X-T3 mirrorless camera, one of its most popular models. Despite its small size, the beginner-friendly digital camera could record high-definition videos. It was an edge the X-T3 had over other video hybrid cameras on the market at the time. Fujifilm Corporation trades in the Tokyo Stock Exchange as “Fujifilm” or “Fuji” with a ticker symbol “4901.” It began trading on TYO in 1984.

With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to Fujifilm User Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
