Kenmore is a US brand of household appliances sold by Sears and is owned by Transformco, an affiliate of ESL Investments. As of 2017, the organization’s products were produced by several manufacturers, including Whirlpool, Electrolux, Cleva North America, LG, Panasonic, and Daewoo. It offers both upscale and professional lines of appliances. The company’s upscale line is regarded as the Elite line, whereas the professional line is Kenmore Pro. It manufactures refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ranges, wall ovens, microwaves, warming drawers, range hoods, washers, dryers, vacuum cleaners, grills, laundry parts, and accessories as well offering air and water treatment. The company was started in 1913 and released a four-drawer feed sewing machine produced from 1913 to 1919. The organization introduced its first washing machine and vacuum cleaner in 1927 and 1932, respectively. The launch of its first automatic electric clothes dryer earned the firm significant national success by starting a revolution in home décor through products that featured the latest designs and technology. Its commercial success allowed the expansion of the Kenmore portfolio in 1976 to cover refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, as well as air conditioners previously branded as Coldspot. By 1995, 25% of major appliances sold in North America were Kenmore products. This accomplishment was also attributed to the launch of the Kenmore Elite HE3t washer that had robust water and energy efficiency. The release of the Kenmore HDTV and Kenmore Elite UHDTV series in 2016 earned the company significant success globally by enabling it to expand into consumer electronics.
With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to Kenmore User Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
