Neopost is an international organization specializing in mailing business equipment, customer experience management, and business process automation. In this regard, the firm assists businesses in the streamlining of document production processes and departmental workflows by offering digital solutions that automate communications and accelerate cash flow. In 2019, the company was renamed Quadient. Neopost was started through a leadership-led leverage buyout of NV’s Friden Alcatel Mail systems equipment in 1992 to increase its presence in the worldwide market for mailroom and logistic systems. Its success was launched after the release of the Windows integrated software package, WinLink in 1994 and began gaining significant traction after the unveiling of Neolink, a service technician dispatch system. As a result, the company exponentially grew through the 1990s, with sales skyrocketing from EUR120 million at the time of formation to EUR365 million by 1997. To expand its international presence, Neopost acquired Lima in 1998 and bought Privmavera and Sima in 2000. The three companies were Italian-based, which enabled Neopost to gain the country’s 40% market share. In 2001, the company expanded its logistics systems operations by acquiring PackageNet, a franchise-based internet, and internet-linked package pickup and drop-off point. This move allowed it to enter the US market, which eventually constituted half of its global sales. In early 2019, Neopost announced a merger with Parcel Pending to diversify its offering and expand its portfolio. Among the company’s most notable acquisitions are the 2012 purchase of GMC Software Technology, a customer communication technology developer to utilize the company’s technological solutions that allow organizations to manage inbound and outbound communication. The company became publicly traded in 1998 and is listed on Euronext Paris with the trading symbol QDT.
With such a rich history, it’s no wonder the company has so many products out there, from new to used. Finding the right documentation can be difficult, especially in the English language. This is the reason why we opened up a section dedicated to NEOPOST User Manuals, where you can view or download each PDF.
